Fantastic Stay with Great Staff and Food!

The staff was excellent, always helpful and cute! The food was AMAZING!!! I particularly enjoyed the evening entertainment. It added a lot to my stay. The location was good, with convenient access to both the town and the beach. I could easily walk to either.
The music from the function room below was audible, as my room was on a lower floor. I could hear it at night, slightly disruptive.

The room included comfortable beds ensuring good rest, and the bathroom was fine. The room also regulated the temperature quite well, and the windows opened a little. This allowed to adjust the room's conditions.

The breakfast room was big and airy. I found it quite pleasant to start my mornings there. The hot food was served plated. It consisted of nice, hot, and good quality food.

The hotel has a gentle incline from the Valley Bridge. I found the central location convenient, with easy access to both the town and the beach. It's a really good spot to stay.

mixed stay, noise issues and dated decor

the staff were polite throughout my stay.
the room felt quite dated the wallpaper was old and stained in places also the heating wasn't effective the room remained cold even with the radiator on for extended periods plus noise from neighboring rooms was a problem i could clearly hear tv sounds late at night and early in the morning this affected my sleep quality significantly i found it very frustrating

Fab Stay, Will Visit Again!

I found the art deco architecture superb. The staff is really friendly and helpful, from start to finish. Breakfast tasted superb. I got all my needs met with adapted options too. The hotel got awards recently, and I now see perfectly why.
The hotel room windows wasn't cleaned for a while.

The hotel sits on top of the hill with amazing views. It overlooks the city, a lovely plus. The hotel is reasonably close to town and beach.

Breakfast is well-cooked, also presented nicely. It caters to all tastes too. Evening meals includes decent choices. The hotel also provides packed lunches that tasted great, and a really good value.

The rooms are cleaned well. The bathroom seemed new and modern. The hotel room contains all needed equipment. The room had comfortable pillows that I needed after long walks.

The staff were wonderful. They are helpful, friendly, and informative. The lady behind the bar wasn't very smiling though. The warm greeting at reception was appreciated.

The hotel sorts parking out right away. There is also evening entertainment worth staying in for. Hot water comes quickly, so one must be careful. I did love everything.

Really good Stay

The staff provided excellent service and were always helpful. I appreciated the provision of a free parking disc by reception for street parking. The entertainment in the evening was enjoyable and included a singer and a comedian. The restaurant and entertainment lounge bar were spacious and comfortable with modern decor.
I found the mattress to be too firm and requested a mattress topper, but I did not receive one. This affected my sleep quality .

The staff were always ready to help and polite and the receptionists were helpful. Waiters and waitresses were great and quick to serve food. The hotel offered a very warm welcome to all guests.

The rooms were very comfy and tidy providing a relaxing environment . The bathroom was also clean and well kept. My room was a good size and it was perfect, allowing me to rest comfortably.
