i COMPLETELY fell in love with the peaceful location upon arrival. iris lodge was amazing! as soon as we entered, it felt warm and cozy. the plug placements for the bunks were a thoughtful detail. the hot tub provided a perfect view of the tranquil lake and roaming wildlife.
the swimming pool had flooring starting to come away, which dug into my feet. the ladder into the pool felt a little loose and unsafe.

the setting is calm and quiet, nestled away from the hustle. it allows quick access to local attractions though. this offers a really nice blend of seclusion and convenience for those wanting to explore the area.

the indoor pool is lovely and warm, a perfect treat in colder months. a bistro on site offers breakfasts and other meals. the grounds was well-kept.

our chalet had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. it included a comfy bed, smart tv, and a functional kitchen area. the bathroom had a clean wet room.

the staff members were attentive . when we left an important item behind they contacted us immediately and proposed a way to fix it. they really were great too help us.

the swimming pool was acceptable.
The cottage needed a serious scrub. the fridge was repulsive, and i had to clean everything before i dared use it. even wiping down the dining table left a black residue on the cloth. I did not expect that.

Definitely Coming Back

The lakeside area was tranquil and well-kept. I appreciated the short walk from the car park, preferring no cars near the seating area. I ate in the onsite restaurant twice. The food was AMAZING!!! I'd recommend it to anyone.
I noticed the shower in the wet room did not drain immediately. This left a wet floor after showering. I would have liked a mop to dry the floor.

The decoration in the restaurant was beautiful. We shared three starters among five people, and each was lovely. For the main course, everyone ordered something different, and each meal was delicious!!!

The glamping pod I stayed in was very cozy and comfortable. It heated up fast! The pod included all necessary amenities, like cooking equipment, a large TV, and a wet room. I liked the coffee, tea, biscuits, and Prosecco on arrival.
