the location was fantastic, near russell square. tube connections were easily accessible. the room i had was sufficiently spacious (appreciated that a lot). efficient check-in made arrival smooth.
the room on the fourth floor was quite small. i stayed for four nights and requested the room to be made up but there was no response. the room was. (a minor inconvenience but noticeable).

the lack of air conditioning made the room uncomfortably warm. a small, dusty fan provided inadequate relief from the heat. furthermore, the poor soundproofing allowed considerable noise from outside, disrupting sleep.
