The bar staff had great knowledge. they showed a great understanding of how to get to places with buses, trains and nice walks. the staff provided excellent value for money. the room included all that i needed and sky tv was installed (i watched movies all night!). the room was clean. That means a lot to me.
I found that there was no additional lamp in the room. Just the main ceiling light made things a little tricky at bedtime.

the location is excellent, as it is just a short walk to the open air theatre and the seafront (it's really nice to get some fresh air). the building features a well maintained decor that guests will appreciate.

the pub downstairs has a clean and lively atmosphere. i loved the convenient access it gave (i could grab a snack anytime!). there were friendly locals at the bar .

the staff was very helpful with local knowledge. the manager gave me a warm welcome, that helped me feel more relaxed. a bar man arranged a taxi that arrived quickly.

My room was modern and the layout was nice. The pub downstairs had an amazing atmosphere. The staff really went out of their way to accommodate (it was really helpful).
I found that the flooring was squeaking when I walked. The people downstairs in the bar were very loud and noisy.

a good stay

i discovered our room was a small apartment it was unexpected. one bedroom featured two single beds with a television and it felt private. the other room contained the double bed a television a seating area a desk a mini fridge and a microwave it was practical.
the fire alarm sounded at 2am there were no staff available and no contact number was provided. hotel guests were uncertain how to react and in a state of unrest. the fire brigade was called by a guest the possibility of relocation added to our unease.

staff booked taxis happily and offered helpful advice. they provided really good assistance and guidance about local destinations. i felt they quickly resolved any little issues or questions i presented.

the location provided close proximity to pubs restaurants the beach and the town centre. access to the open air theatre needed only a fifteen minute walk. many local businesses were nearby creating a vibrant and lively atmosphere.

the bed was comfortable.
I found a few issues, though. The noise from the bar downstairs went on quite late. i had some trouble getting to sleep. the room felt a bit bare with only a ceiling light. A small lamp would have helped.
