The hotel location proves really good with convenient access to both train and bus services. i liked reception staff. They were responsive and pleasant. the upgrade to a double room was unexpected, the super clean room providing a comfortable experience with good internet.

the room featured a kettle with tea and coffee facilities, i also appreciated a clean bed provided with white bed linen. the shower worked wonderfully, it provided good pressure with warm water for added comfort. the provided double room was small but it met expectations.

the hotel enjoys proximity to underground transportation, it is a 3 min walk. hyde park is close by and offers a place to relax outside the city center. many pubs, restaurants, and train and tube stations are nearby ensuring options for dining and travel.

The location was perfect for exploring. the staff stored my luggage before my room was ready. I didn't have to carry it around. my room was clean and warm. It felt very functional.
The walls were very thin. I could hear other guests. it was a bit noisy.

The front desk location was convenient near Paddington Station. Rates are okay.
I got one basement room. It smelled like damp, also sewage. There was no phone signal and zero wifi, not practical should there be an emergency.

I had a pleasant seven nights. The staff was kind and very helpful with directions. I also appreciated having someone available to take my bag up to my room. It was useful after a long travel day.
My room lacked air conditioning. This made it uncomfortable during warmer parts of the day. I opened the window, but street noise became distracting.
