constant generator noise short shower
The location was good and I had free parking.
The room felt quite dated and in need of some refurbishment. My sleep was disrupted by a constant generator noise throughout the night (I suspect). I couldn't get the shower to stay warm for more than 30 seconds (which was annoying).

a romantic getaway
caring staff convenient location special request
The staff showed SO much care, addressing ALL requests promptly. The location offered convenient access to the train station. breakfast included eggs prepared to my liking. I REALLY savored that. free parking AND wifi were available, very helpful. restaurant personnel were helpful in fulfilling a SPECIAL request I had.
the room got very hot, but opening the window helped a little.

The reception staff were friendly. my room had a comfortable bed and fresh linen. the location is ideal, very central with ample free parking. i especially enjoyed pepies bar, part of the hotel. The customer service there was great!!!
i found a very slight stain on the carpet, but it wasn't really a big deal.

friendly reception comfortable bed great customer service
the reception was very customer friendly. all the staff went out of their way to make me welcome. the bed was undoubtedly the most comfortable i have experienced. pepies bar, attached to the hotel, is an excellent place to stop for good beer and food. debbie's customer service there was AMAZING!!!
the delivery of beer in the early morning to the car park was a bit noisy.

clean room free toiletries friendly staff
the room was spacious, tidy and clean. i found the needed facilities were available, like tea and coffee, and free toiletries. the staff seemed friendly always, ready to help, always glad to offer service. breakfast was good too, a good start each day.
i regret there were not enough toiletries inside the bathroom. it's a small thing, yet it matters for daily comfort.
