Fantastic Food and Luxurious Rooms
comfortable bed fluffy towel amazing roast delicious breakfast
I booked a table in the restaurant. It was very busy. I enjoyed amazing roasts with the biggest Yorkshires I have ever seen! The room, Superior King Room, had every amenity. The bed was comfortable, and there were lots of fluffy towels (a detail many hotels miss). The breakfast was great, and I tried a different item each day and all were scrumptious.

The Superior King Room featured excellent decor, and was spotlessly clean. There was a fabulously comfortable bed with high quality pillows and bedding, promoting a restful night's sleep. Little touches like the complimentary tea and coffee added to the room's appeal.

The staff provided service with a smile. Everyone was eager to please and very helpful. I felt they went out of their way to assist.

The restaurant provided a varied dinner menu with delicious options, including wine pairings. I especially liked the upstairs bar area. This was nice. A roof terrace offers space for enjoying drinks in the sunshine.

Really good Hospitality
high-end toiletries thoughtful touch elegant bar
The room (Dream Alliance) showed very nice attention to detail. High-end toiletries were provided, and every possible need was anticipated (a thoughtful touch). The cocktail bar provided an elegant pre-dinner space. A talented pianist entertained us on saturday evening, a lovely addition.
the absence of background music in the pub created a slightly cold atmosphere.

biggest yorkshires every amenity delicious roasts breakfast standard low quality bland tomatoes
The roasts were AMAZING!!! They had the biggest Yorkshires I have ever eaten. The room had every amenity imaginable.
I found the breakfast below my expectations. Some ingredients seemed of low quality. The tomatoes tasted bland.
