fresh food perfect service
The room was very nice and neat. It was perfect for a weekend trip. Dinner was excellent, and the service was perfect. Breakfast was filling and fresh with a great selection of hot drinks and items..
The room was very hot, and I could not adjust the radiator to cool it. The room faced the main road, so I could not open the window due to noise.

noisy corridor poor management
My stay started well enough, but it deteriorated quickly. I was frustrated to find the staff unresponsive when I needed assistance. Specifically, the corridor was very noisy late at night.. No one managed it. People used the fire exit in the dining room.

easy check-in ample parking small portions added price
the staff ensured a nice easy check in. there was also plenty of parking at the hotel.
the portions were really small, though the food tasted nice. the price showed an extra 10% added, but this could be removed if we wanted.

a romantic getaway
huge bed great shower log burner thoughtful touch
The snug room we booked was a dream. it featured a huge bed that was just like a cloud. the great shower offered such warmth, and the log burner made everything cozy, we felt pampered. Dog towels, treats, bowls added a personal touch for our border terrier harley! we enjoyed good meals in the bar area. It was so special that dogs are welcome. breakfasts were delicious too.
the room tended to warm up a little, and adjusting the radiator wasn't possible to cool it.

The location is near the beach. It is a short, pleasant walk. there are also gardens on the premises perfect for a relaxing stroll or a quiet moment to reflect, but we loved the pool.

the fish and chips at the restaurant stood out. it included a fresh pea salad that complemented the dish wonderfully. the tartare sauce added a gorgeous touch and made it all worth it.

poor service uninterested staff
I was really disappointed by the service. the server didn't take our drinks order initially. We had to wait until we ordered food to get drinks. they also never cleared any glasses during our meal. when i went to pay, the staff didn't ask how our meal was and seemed uninterested.

traffic noise hot room
The pet friendly rooms were nice and neat.
I found some issues . The room faced the main road so leaving the window open was not possible due to traffic noise. I was also unable to adjust the radiator, so the room became uncomfortably hot..
