the st hilda suite had a lovely sea view. the location was central near everything. the shower and bath were great! communication with the hosts was always easy and helpful.
the noise at night from the street affected my sleep. the thin windows did little to block out sounds of cars and passersby. i also could hear neighbors moving around, especially footsteps from above.

I had very good communication with the hosts. They were helpful before and . the staff in the cafe downstairs were cute. they provided prompt service when i had breakfast there. I recommend it!

The location was convenient. (It was easy to get around.)
Soundproofing was a problem. I could clearly hear conversations and movement from adjacent rooms. This made it hard to rest.

The room had quirky touches. The bathroom was beautiful. The central location made exploring easy. Breakfast and cocktails in the cafe bar downstairs were WONDERFUL!!!

The staff responded quickly to requests. The owner sent a text message to ensure satisfaction. Communication was efficient and helpful throughout our visit. They provided clear information to access the building.

The hotel location is central and convenient. The railway station is only a 10 minute walk away. Cafés, restaurants, pubs, and bars are nearby. The 199 steps and abbey were easily visible.

The suite included a large en-suite. A rolled top bath and a walk in shower were included. The king-size bed was comfy. Plenty of tea bags were available. The decor had fascinating stories.

the room had a lovely style, not a typical hotel room. i loved the seaside theme and the glorious view from the seating area. there was plenty of coffee, tea and milk for us, which i appreciated.
the windows had noticeable gaps, letting in a lot of outside noise. street noise and people were terribly loud. it was hard to sleep well.

the location was perfect, offering close proximity to bars, restaurants, and the harbour.
I could hear everyone move about through the walls. I honestly thought someone was in my room at some point. the bed was uncomfortable but that is personal taste.

The location was excellent. It made walking to various shops, restaurants, and the beach simple. The room had a unique and appealing design. The shower had excellent water pressure.
My room faced the street and I found it noisy at night. The traffic and people made it difficult to sleep well (the windows did little to block out sound). The metal bed frame was also quite squeaky.
