The staff was consistently helpful throughout my stay. I found the food to be very tasty. Portions served were also quite generous, which I appreciated.
The room I occupied had a noticeable damp smell. The bed was not very comfortable for a good night's rest. I also found the bedding to have a somewhat sticky feel, possibly from too much conditioner used during laundry.

I ordered prawn salad accompanied by chips. The chips were really good. my friends enjoyed steak and ale pie with fresh vegetables. the pie contained sizable steak pieces and possessed delectable flavour. the owners and staff were interesting. Conversations with them proved enjoyable.
Soundproofing is a notable drawback. I think that more could be improved. Noise from other guests disrupted sleep.

i ordered lunch at the hotel today. i chose the prawn salad and chips as a side. the chips tasted the best i have had and the prawn cocktail was delicious. my friends both chose steak and ale pie with fresh vegetables. the pie was home made and filled with large pieces of steak and it tasted delectable.
my room had a bad damp smell. the bed was not comfortable and the bedding felt sticky. the room felt too small because of the bed chest of drawers chair and wardrobe

The hotel provides generous food portions, so you will not leave hungry. The meals and breakfasts are of good quality. they offer a full english breakfast, it was excellent and had lots to choose from. the steak dinner is a fantastic option here.
