separate entrance immaculate room lovely meal
i stayed for five nights and the staff were very accommodating. the rooms are in a separate block. i like that there is a separate entrance so i did not disturb anyone, no matter what time i got in. the rooms were immaculate.
The breakfast menu is somewhat limited. Though, i think a self-serve continental option would be a nice addition.

spacious rooms and great location

spacious room varied menu good location
The rooms are spacious and have everything needed for a relaxing stay. i found the location superb. It's ideal for getting around the area. the food was very good with a varied menu. the breakfast offering was also good. It featured locally sourced produce (i especially liked the sausages).
The shower cubicle needed better cleaning. I noticed stained grout on the lower parts and around the bottom. this detracted slightly from an otherwise pleasant experience.

Spacious Rooms and Delicious Breakfasts

spacious room separate entrance delicious breakfast
The room I had was very spacious, with a separate entrance through the porch and a distinct bathroom area. It was kept comfortable and clean . Breakfast was the highlight. The English breakfast was one of the best I have ever tasted. The hotel seemed to take pride in local produce. I found this especially noticeable.
I noticed multiple A4 posters detailing the dog rules, posted both at the entrance and within the hotel room. The room felt somewhat dated, and the shower head needed fixing to maintain its position properly. This detracted from the overall comfort.

Facilities
8/10
The room included tea, coffee, water, and biscuits, replenished each day. There is a beer garden with play equipment available . Flowers and plants adorn the annex. There were ground-floor rooms available, eliminating the need for stairs.
