Wonderful Experience
helpful staff comfortable room tea station
The staff were very cute and helpful (i especially want to say thank you to the reception). The room was comfortable and also well-decorated. I found a very nice tea and coffee station. I would definitely stay here again.
The floor in the bedroom was a bit creaky, this can be fair for a historic hotel.

The bar area had friendly people and a good atmosphere. I had a GREAT meal one night, it was very good. Breakfast had good choices.

The front desk staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They gave clear directions. They held our luggage both prior to arrival and after checkout. I would say the staff are superb.

The room included lovely touches, such as shoe shine and stain remover sachets. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was big. The room has a kettle with hot chocolate, tea, coffee and chocolates.

The location is excellent, close to the city centre. The hotel is situated opposite the train station. Many sights are within walking distance. It is convenient for exploring.

squeaky floorboards rusty shower
The location was excellent and staff are helpful.
I found many issues. The floorboards were very squeaky in my room. the room was too warm, even with the window open. The decor is old and needs some updating, especially the shower, it looks rusty.

the staff was helpful (especially with directions).
the room looked quite dated. the bathroom tiles were cracked, and the shower pressure was weak. also, the noise from the street kept me awake most of one night.

I was so glad for the central location. It was near the train station and city attractions. The staff was nice and helpful. The room had a cozy bed, very comfy. I got a good night's sleep after my long day of exploring.
The shower could have use a little more shelf space, but it was not a big issue.

helpful staff nice touches good choices creaky floor closed restaurant single chair
the staff was cute and helpful. my room had nice little touches like shoe shine and stain remover. the breakfast had good choices (i liked the variety of options).
The floor in my bedroom was creaky, typical for an old building, i suppose. the restaurant was closed. there was only one chair in my double room.

My room's location to the station was indeed fantastic. The staff was lovely, and the room felt very spacious. I found the restaurant divine.
The hot water required running the shower for quite some time to become available. The hotel seems a bit tired and could benefit from an update. The breakfast, I must admit , was mediocre.

the hotel is across from the train station. the location made travel simple! breakfast offered a good selection of choices, i found it satisfying. the staff was helpful with directions, and other services. rooms have tea and coffee.
my room was a bit too warm at night. i couldn't control the temperature to my liking. this made sleeping slightly uncomfortable.
