Mixed Feelings About this Place

mildew on door inadequate heating
The location was really convenient. It was close to everything I needed.
The room was a bit of a letdown. There was visible mildew on the door and windows. a noticeable smell. Heating was inadequate, and the windows seemed drafty and old. I expect a bit more when I travel.

charming stay near the church

welcome letter icelandic tradition free parking
The check-in process was quite simple. a welcome letter and clear instructions about expectations were provided. i particularly enjoyed the icelandic tradition of providing slippers and requesting shoe removal inside. the location was wonderful. I could walk to many places. the bus stop for airport transfers was only a few minutes away. free parking was also available on weekends right in front.
the absence of blackout curtains in the room was a minor inconvenience. i found it a little difficult to sleep well with the early morning light.
Rooms
9/10
the room had charming decorations and a super beautiful interior. the bathroom was big and comfortable, offering a very pleasant space. i found everything to be meticulously maintained and well-presented.
Facilities

The guesthouse offered free coffee. tea and hot chocolate were also available. i enjoyed the beautiful antique dining room. It had calming music. the fully equipped kitchen was convenient too.
Dining
8/10
while there wasn't a dedicated restaurant, the free coffee. tea, and hot chocolate were a good bonus. the access to a fully equipped kitchen provided flexibility for preparing my own meals.

Charming Stay in Convenient Location

clean kitchen central location pretty room nice staff
The shared kitchen was quite clean and well-equipped, I noticed. I also appreciated how close it was to key sites, like the cathedral serving as a handy visible guide, I think! The room felt pretty, and it, I can say that. The staff was quite nice and helpful, and I definitely felt comfortable.
The pillows were rather thin, I am not gonna lie.
Dining
9/10
The guesthouse features a shared kitchen to prepare meals. The kitchen includes all necessary appliances, I noticed. This setup supports convenient on-site dining. Dining space is ample, I can say.
Location
10/10
The guesthouse location allows for easy access to many attractions. Tour van access is easy, I could see. Restaurants and museums are also within walking distance. The location is quite central, in my opinion.
Facilities
9/10
The shared bathrooms provide a hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. These extras are quite useful. The parking is FREE, a HUGE plus! The guesthouse is well-equipped overall, I think. The room had everything I needed, personally.
Service
9/10
Messages prior to arrival were particularly helpful, I acknowledge. Staff members seem ready to help at any moment. They provided us with lots of information about the surrounding area, that's for sure. The hosts were friendly, I think.

a decent stay

great location convenient parking comfortable bed small room high price ensuite conversion
the guesthouse is in a great location. i was able to walk everywhere i wanted to visit in the city. free parking at the church was very convenient, which helped a lot. the bed in my room was really comfortable too.
the room was small for the price i paid. it was like a shed converted into an ensuite room. i found the size quite disappointing. i wasn't expecting it to be so small.
