small portion unavailable chicken
I found some issues . dinner in the restaurant was a problem one night. The chicken was unavailable (despite a recent delivery). my replacement fish gratin arrived after a long wait and was small for the price. the meal resembled a microwave dinner. It was not particularly filling.

cooking odors kitchen smell
the staff were very friendly and helpful free parking was very close by
the room smelled strongly of cooking odors i suspect it was coming from the kitchens underneath our room it was quite unpleasant and made it difficult to relax properly i would not return because of this

the hotel's location offered convenient access. the room included tea and coffee making facilities. i found every staff member pleasant and happy to help.
the windows opened only a fraction , so i could not get much fresh air. the room smelled of fried food from the restaurant fan. i found this unpleasant.

a mixed experience at the hotel
good choice breakfast coffee bags tea comfy bed sleep full car park parking awkward space parking dated room room
i booked the room and the included breakfast was lovely. there was a very good choice of continental options and cooked food. the room was nice and warm with plenty of teas and coffee, even coffee bags. the bed was very comfy and i slept really well.
the guest car park was an added bonus, however, it was quite full when i arrived. i found a corner space but it was awkward due to posts and lack of space. once parked, i went up to my room and i was a little taken back with how dated the room was.

The location was ideal with convenient parking included. This detail made arrivals much smoother. Breakfast provided a nice range of choices. I found the bed very comfortable. A useful extra light near the mirror proved beneficial.
i noticed some minor wear in the bathroom, a few cosmetic repairs could enhance it.

Breakfast had a very good selection of food options available, from hot items like eggs and bacon to lighter choices such as pastries and fruit, ALL presented attractively. Service was efficient.

Staff members were friendly and helpful. They responded to requests promptly. Check-in was efficient. The staff provided clear information about the hotel's amenities and local area, i WAS very pleased.

amazing quality local butchers great location beach front fraction window outdoor temperature
the location was great. it was close to the shops and the beach front. the staff smiled when i arrived, which i found nice! the food had amazing quality from local butchers.
the bedroom was far too hot. i know the weather was hot, but it was still ridiculously hot. a fan did not really help. the windows only opened a fraction, so i couldn't get air. i was also getting air from the restaurant.
