I found this spot super convenient because it is a short walk from King's Cross. The room had tea and coffee-making facilities. I also liked the friendly staff who were always ready to help. The lively bar downstairs was great.
The room showed a lack of maintenance because the electrical socket was loose. Also the metal bed frame felt shaky and rattled with every movement.

The staff was friendly. The room was clean. The bar downstairs is a cool place. The location is convenient, especially the proximity to transport links. The check-in at the bar was fast. The ensuite room had all necessary items. I found the bed comfy, and the shower provided hot water. Nigel and his staff were friendly during check-in.
The stairs were steep. It was a bit difficult to carry my luggage up.

dirty showerstale beer smell
My room was supposedly cleaned, but i find hairs in the shower. i think they forgot. and the single-glazed windows are a joke. The noise from outside made sleep difficult. plus, the whole place smelled faintly of stale beer, like the pub downstairs was always lingering.
