The location was convenient because of its proximity to the A1. The attached restaurant offered a great dinner. I appreciated the freshly cooked food and the friendly staff. It really made for a nice evening.
The central heating did not work properly. I found an electric radiator running at full blast. The shower room was freezing because of it. There was no hot water in the morning, so a hot shower was not possible.

The location proved to be convenient.
I found the shower quite problematic. It leaked badly and caused the bathroom to flood. The shower and taps generally need updating. A missing wheel made the portable radiator unstable.

the location was acceptable as a stopover during my travels.
the lack of toiletries was DISAPPOINTING. the towels provided were not clean, a major lapse in expected hygiene. there was also NO available staff at reception during stated check-in hours and this caused DELAYS.

The rooms are in a separate building behind the restaurant. It was pretty quiet! plenty of parking is available. the room was large with two comfy double beds. the restaurant is wonderful. The food was AMAZING!!! i will return in a few weeks and this will definitely be my go-to place when i stay near.
