An okay stay
great locationunsafe roomfaulty lock
The location was good for accessing Hyde park and Oxford street.
Our basement room felt unsafe, i noticed the door barely locked. The handle seemed loose, and it often failed to engage the lock, made us uneasy about sleeping or leaving our belongings (it was really un nerving). The window also didn't lock.

I found its proximity to Hyde Park very convenient, it was literally across the road. I also appreciated the easy access to two underground stations on the district, circle, and central lines. Many good restaurants are nearby and offer dining options.
I noticed the walls seemed somewhat thin. I could hear some noise from adjacent rooms.

My room included a kettle for making tea or coffee. The coffee and tea were restocked daily, a nice touch. Clean towels were available. I noticed the cleanliness of the room upon arrival.

I found the hotel staff to be very kind and helpful . The reception staff were available around the clock to address queries. They were always ready with assistance. I had a very good experience.
