charming stay near wimbledon common
excellent locationinviting barcomfy roombreakfast hamper
the location was excellent. the inviting bar and dining area had a resident's reduction. my room was very comfy. the breakfast hamper had yogurt, juice, butter and milk in fridge plus a supply of tea, coffee and biscoff!
parking was non existent unless i parked on wimbledon common overnight.

The hotel includes a traditional bar area. It had a cosy atmosphere. there is also a dining area where guests can enjoy meals. the 20% discount for residents was a bonus!

The hotel is on the edge of wimbledon common. It offered a peaceful setting. it is not far from the train station. a taxi to the station costs around £10, i noted.

the double room featured comfortable amenities! i appreciated the little extras in the breakfast hamper! it was generous with complimentary juice, water and fruit in the room. the room was clean and tidy.

the room was really nicely decorated. each morning, a breakfast basket was presented, it included really good food. the location is excellent, its perfect for walks on the common.
the room and en-suite smelled damp. i brought this to the attention of the manager. his response was, "i can't smell damp". the area and stairs leading to rooms was also smelly.

The pillows lacked pillowcases. This was unacceptable. i requested some pillowcases, but none were available. the condition of the actual pillows was rather unpleasant.
