I found the bed very comfortable. the rooms seemed spacious, a real plus. free parking near the rooms helped a lot. i liked the powerful, hot showers. There were plenty of pillows available.

i noticed very slight cobwebs and some spiders in the room, but it was not a major issue.

The hotel is close to the a38, approximately 7-10 minutes away. the area is generally quiet, greatly appreciated. parking on-site is free. It offers added convenience.

large room comfortable bed free parking generous supply

the room was quite large. the bed proved very comfortable, and i slept soundly each night. the free parking was a definite bonus, and i always found a space close to the entrance. i really appreciated the little extras, like the generous supply of tea and coffee.

the bathroom could use a bit of updating.

constant noise window problem

the room was clean when i arrived, so that was something.

my room faced a main road and i heard traffic all night. the window didn't close properly and a metal sign outside banged in the wind. it was hard to sleep because of the constant noise.

I found the room size good and the bedding clean, important for a restful stay. the water was hot, which i appreciated after a long day. i also liked the location. It was just outside of town, so it seemed like a peaceful countryside (quiet indeed!). the staff were helpful when needed too.

the curtains were a bit worn, so light came through in the early morning.

polite staff helpful staff sized fridge noisy fan heavy door poor signposting

the staff was very polite and kind. they was very helpful when needed. the room was clean and had a decent sized fridge. i keep some essentials in it.

the bathroom fan was very noisy and the bathroom door heavy. the entrance was poorly signposted. i went past it the first time. a funny smell was in room initially.
