I found the bed very comfortable. the rooms seemed spacious, a real plus. free parking near the rooms helped a lot. i liked the powerful, hot showers. There were plenty of pillows available.
i noticed very slight cobwebs and some spiders in the room, but it was not a major issue.

The hotel is close to the a38, approximately 7-10 minutes away. the area is generally quiet, greatly appreciated. parking on-site is free. It offers added convenience.

the room was quite large. the bed proved very comfortable, and i slept soundly each night. the free parking was a definite bonus, and i always found a space close to the entrance. i really appreciated the little extras, like the generous supply of tea and coffee.
the bathroom could use a bit of updating.

the room was clean when i arrived, so that was something.
my room faced a main road and i heard traffic all night. the window didn't close properly and a metal sign outside banged in the wind. it was hard to sleep because of the constant noise.

I found the room size good and the bedding clean, important for a restful stay. the water was hot, which i appreciated after a long day. i also liked the location. It was just outside of town, so it was like a peaceful countryside (quiet indeed!). the staff were helpful when needed too.
the curtains were a bit worn, so light came through in the early morning.

the bathroom fan was very noisy and the bathroom door heavy. the entrance was poorly signposted. i went past it the first time. a funny smell was in room initially.
