wonderful ornaments

this stay marked my second visit. the staff was very friendly. the hotel features MANY ornaments and pictures. lunch, dinner and breakfast all tasted delicious.
a loud squeaking came from the bed every time i moved. getting a tv signal proved difficult. the kettle had limescale. there weren't drinking glasses in the room.

Unique Stay with Great Staff!

The room was indeed beautiful, equipped with a lovely modern shower room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Callum especially went out of his way to look after us. The hotel is full of antiques and curios, offering a unique experience. I found the location easy to find and it has a GREAT onsite bar.
The wifi signal wasn't strong enough to reliably connect in the bedroom, UNFORTUNATELY.

There is a bar onsite serving cask beers. It is quite splendid. The breakfast had a HUGE selection including toast, cereals, tea and juice. I found the available meal and drink selection to be good.

Our room included a four poster bed giving a very regal feeling. The bedding was of good quality, as were the towels provided. Everything was beautifully appointed inside, which complemented the unique atmosphere of the accommodation.

i found the breakfast to be beautifully cooked and filling. it really set me up for the day. the food in the pub was generous and tasty.. i found it very satisfying.
i noted there was no signal in the room. i couldn't watch tv that evening. i also found the hot water tap on the sink was broken. the bedside lampshade was old and damaged.

the foyer was very nice. it resembled walking into a museum! our room also featured a four poster bed, really beautiful. the staff members were friendly and informative, i noted.
The wifi did not work in the bedroom. I could not connect.
