the location proved convenient with many shops within walking distance. breakfast offered a good selection and the coffee was particularly nice. my room was very clean and the shower had fantastic pressure. the staff were helpful and responded quickly to requests.
The room was a little warm. I could not adjust the temperature to my liking.

The room had everything I needed. The bed felt comfortable. The bathroom included a very good, powerful shower. I received a good amount of tea, coffee, and hot chocolate. nice shortbread biscuits. The location provided excellent convenience.

i found the staff very friendly and helpful. they even let me keep my luggage after checkout, that was useful. the breakfast was amazing!!! i particularly enjoyed the haggis and sausages. the location is superb!!!
the building feels quite tired and needs some freshening up. i think a fresh coat of paint and updated decor would make a big difference.

The decor seemed a little tired. It was like a step back in time, but not in a charming way, it was more worn. the breakfast was okay, nothing special. i had difficulty finding parking near the hotel. the bar needed a good clean. The tables felt sticky.
