traffic noise leaky window
i wasn't thrilled the room faced a busy street. traffic noise was noticeable, and the window seemed a bit leaky. i also found it inconvenient the kitchen was on a different floor (the third floor, i think) and smelled strongly of fish . i found it hard to relax because of this. it wasn't the peaceful retreat i had hoped for.

Excellent Stay Above Lively Pub

convenient access modern decoration
I appreciated the proximity to the tube station. It offered convenient access to many destinations. The room was very clean and included modern decorations. I also enjoyed a 10% discount on the gastropub's food as a guest.
The pub stayed open late. This made sleeping difficult, particularly since the music blared until 1:30 am. Better soundproofing might solve the issue.
Service
10/10
The staff excelled with their consistent helpfulness and positive attitude. They were attentive from check-in through check-out. They promptly answered all questions. The carded access offered convenient entry and exit without navigating the pub.
Rooms
8/10
The room featured a comfortable bed which was really appreciated. The bathroom was also in good condition with modern fixtures. I found the room to be very clean and well kept .
Location
9/10
Ladbroke Grove station is nearby and offered easy access. Several restaurants, bakeries, and coffee shops are located nearby. I particularly enjoyed the convenience of the Portobello market. The tube station is only a short walk.

Great Location, Modern Rooms

renovated room comfortable bed simple check-in quiet location
The room was exactly as shown in the pictures, recently renovated. The bed provided great comfort. Check-in was very simple at the gastropub bar. The location allowed quietness because rooms are away from the bar area.
The bathroom lacked proper ventilation. This sometimes caused the fire alarm to activate after a hot shower.
Facilities
9/10
The gastropub downstairs provides food. This is balanced in price. The metro station is one hundred meters from the premises. Renovated rooms provide a nice atmosphere, though it's an older building.
