historic dockyardsfriendly staff
the dockyard entrance was a quick two minutes walk from the hotel door. shopping at gun wharfe quays was also easy and took only five minutes. the staff were very attentive to me during my four days. the cook made excellent breakfasts each morning. i did not want anything better.
my room lacked air conditioning and could become warm when the weather is good. this was a bit of a discomfort.

the location was convenient for the naval museum, i suppose.
I found my single room quite cramped. There wasn't much space to move around in. the window wouldn't open, so the room felt stuffy and uncomfortable. an electric fan was in the room, but it was too loud to use while trying to sleep.

The location was convenient. I was able to quickly reach the historic dockyard. The breakfast offered a solid start to the day with several options. Staff provided efficient and friendly service. I felt welcomed .
Some of the hallway carpets showed a bit of wear.
