the mattresses provided great comfort, ensuring excellent sleep quality. i appreciated the large size of our family room, it accommodated everyone comfortably. a fan was available in the room, particularly useful during the hot weather.
the room was basic, and the curtains werent fixed properly. i also noted that the curtains were hanging off in some of the downstairs areas.

the hotel provided nightly entertainment that sounded good from what i could hear. i did not see it myself. the hotel is equipped with comfortable sofas in the lounge areas.

the location is perfect with a tram stop situated just outside the door. this makes travel very easy. it is near the pleasure beach to the left and a nice stroll to the tower to the right.

mixed feelings at THE hotel
tough steakovercooked curry
I found the food a little underwhelming. the steak pie had very tough steak, honestly. the vegetable curry tasted overcooked. I could mash the veg. breakfast was ok, but the other meals left MUCH to be desired.

the entertainment was very poor. the rooms were too warm. i think they are using cheaper produce now at breakfast because it was not great

i found ample seating throughout the lounges after long days. the staff were friendly and helpful. i appreciated the cleanliness of the hotel and rooms. i had a very good breakfast each morning.
The shower pressure was not as strong as i would have liked. It fluctuated a bit on the third floor.

The hotel has ramp access. It helped disabled guests at the entrance and side of the steps to the dining room. The toilets downstairs were immaculate with a ramp where steps existed. These details ensured a smooth experience.

The reception staff offered a warm welcome and arranged for my luggage to be delivered to my room quickly. My Double Room was well-equipped and clean (I was charmed by the fresh linens). The dining room was well-organized, and the waiting staff provided efficient service.
