i felt really welcome. the manager made sure i had everything i needed, and he was such a friendly guy!!! the hotel was also very clean and well kept, a HUGE plus. i especially appreciated how well kept everything was.
the room décor felt a little dated, and a small update would make a big difference.

the beds felt comfortable i didn't want to leave in the morning! everything was clean tidy and the bedding and towels smelled fresh. the tv was a great size perfect for watching at night and in the morning. it was a homely feeling.
the room wasn't quite ready when i arrived for the 4pm check in so i had to wait a little. the manager had been out and hadn't prepared the room yet.

The owner was very cute. Nothing was too much trouble for him. The rooms have tea and coffee facilities, a tv, a sink, and wifi. The hotel is near the promenade and the football stadium. I found a big pay and display car park at the end of the road (it was very convenient).
The cold water tap didn't work. I also noticed a big crack in the window.

the host was friendly, even assisting with parking.
The room was quite disappointing. my 'double room' was cramped and smelled of damp. It was also very cold. the window didn't close properly (there was a draught).
