clean room good touches no reception overgrown garden

the room was lovely and clean. There were good little touches of hot chocolate and biscuits provided. the breakfast was excellent, and i found the staff to be really good.

i arrived about 10pm so there was no one at reception, i rang the numbers on the sign. the grounds have not been maintained for some time. i saw a ground floor room with patio doors and a lovely view however the small garden area was completely overgrown.

prominent cobwebs untrained staff

The room i was assigned had a distinct lack of upkeep. cobwebs were quite prominent throughout the room. furthermore, the staff seemed inadequately trained. A simple request for a common alcoholic beverage could not be fulfilled. such oversights are unacceptable.

charming stay

lovely meal engaging staff cute receptionist chill ambiance

i really liked the squid in the restaurant it was a must try. lyno at reception was very cute and matt was very engaging. auther cooked a lovely meal for us i appreciated it. my friend and i found the ambiance in the restaurant chill.

the sockets for plugging in chargers were a little awkward to reach i had to move the table.

my room was a good size it included a large ensuite with a lovely bath. the window offered a nice view of the hayfield outside this added to the charm. the ground floor location at the back met my request

parking was really good i always found a space. the gardens surrounding the hotel were very pleasant and well maintained. i felt my car was safe in the parking area. it was an additional comfort

the bathroom was nice! and big. it had a good shower. the restaurant layout allowed for enough space between tables.

The hotel could use some updates. It feels a bit run down.

clean bed free parking cooked food

i stayed in a standard double room. it had a very clean, comfy bed. i really liked there was a lot of free parking. the breakfast had excelent cooked food, it was nicely cooked.

the room needed blackout curtains because the conservatory lights shine into it.
