I was thrilled with how quickly the staff responded to my requests! the location is excellent, close to russell square. everything felt super clean. My sheets, towel, and washbasin were all super clean, the shared bathroom too. i think some previous reviews confused general wear and tear with actual dirt. The paint is peeling, but i don't mind a bit of shabbiness for such an affordable stay!

uncomfortable bedexcessive noise
The room was not great. the bed was uncomfortable. I felt every spring. also, the noise level was excessive. i could hear conversations from other rooms very clearly. it made getting any sleep difficult.

Decent option for a quick visit

The location is great it is close to transport links. The staff were understanding because I needed some extra time to check out. The bathrooms were recently renovated. Shared toilets too look pretty new.
The room was not so clean there was dust on the floor underneath the beds. The bathroom sink was filthy the cold tap was not working at all. I also noticed stuff in the sink plug hole. It was gross.
