excellent stay
friendly staff quick breakfast
the staff was friendly. breakfast had plenty of choice and efficient service. i took advantage of the free bag storage before check-in, confirming front desk hours at a sister hotel. the room had a mini fridge, a microwave, tea, coffee, and biscuits. i had a delicious breakfast that was served quickly.
i arrived after 6pm. they sent an email that morning, i didn't see it.

decent variety charming garden private bathroom comfortable bed
I found the included breakfast satisfying. It had a decent variety of options. the hotel has a charming garden. I enjoyed relaxing there in the mornings. my room included a private bathroom. It was clean and well kept. the bed was comfortable. I slept well each night.
the stairs were a bit of a challenge with luggage, especially since there isn't a lift.

a gem for museum lovers
superb location friendly staff efficient service
the location was superb , just a short walk to the british museum. i found a large waterstones bookstore right across the street , a real treat for book lovers. the staff at breakfast were friendly and efficient , always ready to assist.
the shower dial was worn , so it was a little hard to figure out how to work it initially.

mixed feelings about the stay
small room cramped bathroom
the breakfast was good with a nice selection.
the room was smaller than expected, and the bathroom felt cramped. i couldn't fully extend my arms without touching the walls. this made it difficult to move around comfortably, especially after a long day.

small bed temperamental fridge
the location was good for getting around the area i needed to be in the inclusive breakfast was also convenient
the room i was given was not what i expected the bed felt quite small and i noticed vertical lines running through the tv screen the fridge was also temperamental it didn't always work properly the outside deck had rotten boards creating a tripping hazard
