Sara greeted us. she gave us a full hotel tour. the owner was present in the lobby each morning. the granddaughter, marisa, worked behind the desk. i found the breakfast buffet lovely each morning. The pool area was relaxing. dinners on the terrace provided sunset views.
the location requires walking uphill to return from town. this can be quite strenuous. taxis are an option, yet they are expensive.

i found the staff to be cute.. they provided helpful recommendations for local hikes and activities. i appreciated that the hotel had several areas with hammocks for relaxation. the pool was a welcome addition. i also liked the beautiful gardens.
the walk back to the hotel is uphill and can be a bit strenuous, especially after dinner.

The staff was friendly and always helpful. I enjoyed the really good views and calm outside (it's quite a setting!). The hotel pool was clean. It was great.
The walk to the town involves some uphill sections. This requires considerable effort.
