the location is great with an easy walk to local facilities. the marina grande is also within easy walking distance. i found the hotel staff wonderful and obliging breakfasts were very good.
the hotel was quite a distance from the train station making it difficult to bring roller bags over due to the uneven surfaces

inadequate air conditioninglimited breakfast
I found a couple of issues that were a bit disappointing. the air conditioning barely worked. It was just an old central system that didn't cool down the room much. also, the breakfast was quite basic and not up to the standards i would expect. there was a limited selection of items, and the quality was not particularly excellent. it was like they could improve in these areas to provide a better overall experience.

personalized egg disheseasy walkwonderful staff
The breakfast buffet featured ample choices with personalized egg dishes prepared by the chef. I appreciated the opportunity to practice my Italian even though staff spoke English. The location is on the edge of town and an easy walk to all facilities. Marina Grande is also within easy walking distance with bars and restaurants.
The pool smelled slightly unpleasant.
