the check-in process was smooth and easy. i also appreciated the ample parking available at the hotel. the bar was nice, and it offered various forms of entertainment. i found these services very satisfactory .

i noticed only one roll of toilet paper in my bathroom. i believe hotels should always provide a spare roll.

The floorboards are noisy, i know it's an old building. it could be looked at.

I had a sunday roast. It came with beef and turkey. roast potatoes accompanied peas, brocolli, carrots, and parsnips. the dish included crispy parsnips on top and was delicious. I highly recommend it.

the staff changed our room. it made access to the dining room easier..

The breakfast service was something else. cooked breakfasts took forever, like an hour. one couple just gave up and left. continental breakfast choices were also limited. They didn't refill the trays.

the breakfast had nice quality sausages and bacon. i found free parking very convenient. the staff in the dining room were helpful and friendly.

the hotel is a pub , and they served liquor until 11.00pm. there was music playing , and i needed to use ear plugs. on friday , a wedding party took over the hotel and the booming music shook the whole hotel until 11.30.

The bar music was loud at night. Sleep was a challenge. the breakfast was quite disappointing. The sausages tasted boiled and the bacon, excessively salty. i found it hardly a culinary masterpiece.

the room was a good size. it had everything i needed for a short stay.

the noise was a real issue. i could hear everything (especially from the hallway) through the thin walls. also, the bathroom lacked proper ventilation. there was no extractor fan and no window, so it always felt damp.
