i found the location really central. the building has some beautiful 15th century features and it felt very historical!
The furniture seemed a little old and worn. Some of it looked chipped.

i arrived early, and the receptionist chatted with me. the room was sootless. when i checked in, a heater made sure the room was warm. i will return definitely.
the mattress felt lumpy, i definitely think new ones are needed. also, sound insulation is bad, and i could hear people in the hotel. even when whispering, i still heard noise.

the barman seemed very helpful and friendly . the staff had knowledge about the hotel. the staff also changed the room to a lower floor.

the room features period hotel with great history. the full english breakfast was excellent value. it was freshly cooked plus it had cereal and fruit juice.

the location of the hotel puts me in the city centre. staff showed adherence to a couple of requirements. the building is a gorgeous tudor building with atmosphere.

The staff welcomed me warmly, and the location allowed me quick access to nearby shops. i appreciated the restaurant area for its ambiance. It felt tender. a well-stocked bar helped to end each day.
I found the shower challenging. It took considerable strength to adjust the taps. the temperature alternated quickly, difficult. I had to carry my luggage up several flights of stairs. the man offered help but then seemed distracted.

The shower did not have high water pressure for washing, a minor inconvenience.

The room looked tired, it could use some updating. the bathroom light didn't work, it made things difficult when getting ready. the window didn't stay open on its own, i had to prop something against it. also, the noise from the town centre was quite loud. There wasn't any double glazing.
