surprisingly superb stay

the halloween children's party was very unexpected. it was fabulous and so well done. the staff were lovely and very helpful. entertainment was also good and the restaurant staff were great.
the twin beds felt a little lumpy.

the room was warm. i switched off the radiators and opened the windows. the hotel replenished tea and coffee daily and made up the room daily. the room was clean and a decent size.

Food was lovely and plentiful, i must say. staff were courteous and friendly, a real plus. ian, our server, was lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. i stayed before, but this was after the refurb. What a great difference.
i did find the room was unbearably hot, even with the fan provided. sleeping was difficult because of the heat. i mentioned it to reception, and they acknowledged the clammyness.

I loved the modern design and how well everything was kept. the staff helped so much and always had a smile. my room felt very spacious, and the bed provided wonderful comfort. breakfast was delicious. It was a great way to start each day.
finding a quiet spot away from the entertainment in the evening proved a bit challenging.

The hotel is right across from the seafront. This location made our daily walks along the shore very special. a tram stop opposite the hotel offers convenient transport to various attractions. this closeness makes exploration effortless.

The food was AMAZING!!! i found myself savoring every bite. The dining experience was quite nice. a new chef seems to have brought fresh energy to the menu. The presentation was lovely. the quality of ingredients was superb.

the location was acceptable.
The food quality was lacking, i found it did not meet expectations for a three-star hotel. my salmon was overcooked and dry. It took an unreasonable amount of time to arrive. the dining staff seemed overwhelmed. I observed they were constantly rushing.

Charm and Cleanliness Shine Through

The food was great, especially the sandwich I ate for lunch. It tasted very fresh and came to me very promptly. The room was spacious, and I enjoyed using the steam room, jacuzzi, and pool facilities. I was checked straight in, even arriving forty minutes early because of bad weather.
The showers on a mixer tap took a while for warm up, a little inconvenient when I just wanted to quickly freshen up.

My room was spacious, it includes comfortable beds with plenty pillows so it was easy relax. The hotel kept the rooms very clean and everything felt new and well kept. I did notice the rooms maybe need a small update.

The hotel offers tram and bus stops just outside the front door, so traveling around town was simple. The beach across the road was another excellent feature, it allows for easy access to seaside strolls. This location felt very convenient.

Staff went out of there way, I saw that they always wear a smile. Dawn and the restaurant staff were fabulous, the bar staff were excellent too. Even the reception staff were great, I was thinking all the staff was nice.

The hotel includes a heated pool with sun beds, that looked amazing. The indoor pool for toddlers seemed ideal for families with young children, I could see that everything was super clean. Hot tub, steam room, and sauna was other great features.
