the staff were very nice and helpful. breakfast was freshly cooked and hot. i found the car park convenient. the hotel's location right off the m6 was ideal after a long drive.
Our room needed a little attention, especially a new lampshade or two. i also noticed the curtains looked like they had seen better days. They felt quite dated. no extra pillows were available in the room. the bed felt quite hard compared to others i have experienced.

The staff stored my bicycle in a locked room behind reception. This was very helpful because my room was on the third floor. The bath and shower in the room were excellent.
There was a long walk to my room.

The staff were amazing and really friendly! the food in the restaurant was really good and reasonably priced! the room itself was comfortable enough and had everything you could need. I felt charmed. i would definitely stay here again because of the excellent service and food.
There was a dividing door in between our room and another. I could hear everything from the other room. when they put the television on it was like having the television on in our room. That was not ideal.

The hotel benefits from its convenient access to the m6. This makes travel easy. the hotel is situated near the banks of the river ribble, providing scenic views and a nothing noisy .

The staff provides really good service. Vicky, the general manager, and her team are particularly attentive! they catered to individual needs with care. i found the food to be reasonably priced. I thoroughly enjoyed the friendly atmosphere.

I stayed for a couple of nights during a trip. the location was convenient, right off the motorway. our standard double room was spacious and clean. i was very happy about the helpful staff and the great communication regarding my stay. Victoria, the manager, explained some improvements she has made since taking over this year.
the restaurant had several unavailable items, a slight disappointment.
