a perfectly lovely stay

i found the staff very polite and helpful throughout my stay. the room was spacious with more than i expected, it had a lovely atmosphere. there was parking available that could be reserved, i found this useful.
the floorboards squeaked so much. you could hear every step of the people in the room above us.

the double room featured adequate space and the beds had fresh linens. the temperature was easily controlled with an efficient thermostat. amenities included a stocked minibar and complimentary toiletries, i found them very sweet.

the hotel offers a fitness center with modern equipment and a swimming pool. i noticed the pool area included comfortable loungers and fresh towels. the business center provides computers and printing services , that i found very useful

a buffet breakfast had many tasty choices and was included with my room. the hotel restaurant served a variety of dishes. the bar offered an extensive selection of wines, spirits, and cocktails for a romantic eveing.

The hotel is central and provided easy access to local attractions. many shops, restaurants, and cultural sites are within walking distance. We loved the walks. public transportation is readily available nearby to get about.

The room temperature was not comfortable. Even after turning off the radiator and opening the window, the room remained excessively hot. Another DISAPPOINTING aspect was the bar situation. A function occupied the only bar, preventing access. Breakfast also proved subpar, with a limited selection of hot food served at a less than ideal temperature.

The location was good. It was central. The room was clean, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was combined with a beautiful building.
The shower produced more of a trickle, and the carpets needed replacing. I noticed the whole hotel could benefit from a mild refurbishment. The parking situation was not ideal.
