a decent place to stay

great location city center big bathroom damp room flashing light bubbly wallpaper
the location was definitely a highlight. it was easy to get around. i was very close to restaurants and shops (i really enjoyed the variety of food nearby!). the room had a big bathroom. there was plenty of space for my things.
my room felt damp and cold. the wallpaper was bubbly to the touch. i could also see an extra heater (i guess they knew about the temperature issue!). the fire alarm had a flashing light. it was irritating at night.

Basic Stay Near the Centre

tiny bathroom early hoover
My stay had a few issues that bothered me. The extractor fans from nearby rooms kept going off all night. It really disrupted sleep. The room itself was tiny, especially the bathroom. A refurb seems necessary. I also had a cold shower. Plus, a hoover went off right outside on a Sunday morning at 9 am. This all added up to a frustrating experience.

The location was great, near bus stops and amenities. The reception staff was very helpful and changed our room as my friend needed fewer stairs. The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean.
The toilets made a very loud drilling sound every time I flushed.

The hotel's location allowed easy access to nearby restaurants, bars, and pubs, made exploring the area simple. A large shopping center was nearby, and many attractions were only five minutes away. This proximity offered both convenience and entertainment options.

The hotel has a resident DJ. The apartment was clean and had everything needed. The breakfast was AMAZING!!! Staff was consistently helpful and provided excellent service.

The room was large, provided ample space. The bed was very comfy. I found the location amazing with a view of the cathedral. The staff were helpful and enthusiastic. They created a good atmosphere.
I experienced just one minor inconvenience, the shower head needed some maintenance.

frayed carpets uncomfortable room
The city center location proved acceptable for accessing nearby shops.
The room contained frayed carpets. This detracted significantly from the overall impression. The provided fan barely circulated air so I found the room uncomfortably hot throughout my stay. I informed a staff member, and they indicated that rooms are better maintained, which suggests inconsistency in room quality.
