the staff was attentive and cheerful. i enjoyed the authentic feeling of the building. the breakfast had good hearty options. i especially loved the beautiful view from the bow windows (it was a treat!).
the decor felt a little dated, but it did not significantly impact my stay.

my room was spacious and quiet, very ideal for a rest after a long journey. it included tea making equipment and heavy curtains that ensured a quality sleep. a bathtub was also available.

the check-in process was very cute, as i was personally shown to my room upon arrival. the team provided great complimentary bubbles for my anniversary, a very appreciated gesture. the service at the restaurant was also excellent, with a lovely waitress in attendance.

Amazing stay in this old castle!

I received a complimentary upgrade upon my arrival! The room boasted a comfortable seating area and offered awesome views. The bathroom was great. It included a walk in shower and a roll top bath. All staff was attentive and always helpful.
My room did not include a phone so contacting reception was difficult.

Leanne provided excellent assistance and was very cute. Chen checked me in quickly and carried my bag upstairs. Lizzy showed wonderful hospitality. She is a true asset to the hotel.

The building had a historic vibe with good parking spots for my car. I enjoyed the use of the bar. It features a pool table and offered extra amusement. The location made it easy to get around.

poor breakfastmissing items
i thought breakfast was a disaster. it took nearly an hour to arrive and it was not good. they had run out of continental breakfast items also. rooms werent soundproof either. i could hear everything going on in the hallway and the room above me. the building itself looked charming when i drove up to it.

The staff welcomed me warmly and were always available. The on-site bar offered a relaxing end to long days. The pool table provided entertainment. My room was very spacious, a real treat after traveling.

the staff was attentive and courteous.. the massive four-poster bedroom had a seating area and fabulous views. the bathroom was equally huge with a walk-in shower plus a big roll-top bath. the food was excellent.
