good variety ample space secure parking
the breakfast included a good variety. the room had ample space and comfortable furnishings. i found the grounds well kept with secure parking spaces.
the television remote in the room did not function correctly.

Amazing stay in this old castle!
free upgrade comfortable seating awesome views attentive staff
I received a complimentary upgrade upon my arrival! The room boasted a comfortable seating area and offered awesome views. The bathroom was great. It included a walk in shower and a roll top bath. All staff was attentive and always helpful.
My room did not include a phone so contacting reception was difficult.

Leanne provided excellent assistance and was very cute. Chen checked me in quickly and carried my bag upstairs. Lizzy showed wonderful hospitality. She is a true asset to the hotel.

The building had a historic vibe with good parking spots for my car. I enjoyed the use of the bar. It features a pool table and offered extra amusement. The location made it easy to get around.

I ate delicious dinner and breakfast . Amy in the restaurant gave friendly and amazing service. The presentation of dishes looked very appetizing. It elevated dining experience.

poor breakfast missing items
i thought breakfast was a disaster. it took nearly an hour to arrive and it was not good. they had run out of continental breakfast items also. rooms werent soundproof either. i could hear everything going on in the hallway and the room above me. the building itself looked charming when i drove up to it.

A Castle Stay Beyond Expectations
warm welcome on-site bar pool table spacious room
The staff welcomed me warmly and were always available. The on-site bar offered a relaxing end to long days. The pool table provided entertainment. My room was very spacious, a real treat after traveling.

The hotel is conveniently near many attractions. Both castles are nearby. This proximity offered easy access to historical sites. I found it very convenient. Though the approach at night was dark.

The staff consistently checked on me. They were happy to assist with any request. Their attentiveness contributed greatly to my stay. They were pretty good. Though they seemed stretched.

The breakfast included delicious porridge, it was the best I ever had. The restaurant provides a fantastic selection of meals. The bar also provided an onsite service. The dinner was excellent. Though options were few.

nice castle stay
four poster bed big bathroom excellent food
the staff was attentive and courteous.. the massive four-poster bedroom had a seating area and fabulous views. the bathroom was equally huge with a walk-in shower plus a big roll-top bath. the food was excellent.

the hotel offers easy parking, and the surrounding countryside provides a scenic backdrop. the grounds include well kept gardens. this allows for pleasant strolls. there is also a clear view of the nearby Wallace monument.
