cooked options easy parking
The breakfast had several cooked options. Easy parking was available, a definite plus for me. I found it very convenient for attending the festival theatre. The Wifi worked well.

adequate stay with some issues
bathroom mould noise issue
The included breakfast was acceptable. It offered a decent selection.
The room felt outdated, showing its age in several ways. the bathroom showed mould in the shower. This wasn't appealing. also, noise from other rooms was easily heard. That disrupted the stay.

clean room and great breakfast
onsite parking warm welcome friendly staff blackout blinds
my stay included on-site parking which was very convenient i also appreciated the warm welcome and the friendly staff who were always ready to help the breakfast offered a good selection and the food tasted fresh and well-prepared i found the blackout blinds particularly useful for a good night's sleep
soundproofing between rooms could be improved i did notice some noise from adjacent rooms

the location provided easy access to the town centre and was situated away from the busier streets it allowed for a quiet environment and easy exploration of local attractions nearby

i could easily park my car on site and it made coming and going very simple the hotel featured comfortable beds that were on the firmer side and blackout blinds for better sleep

friendly manager relaxed atmosphere lovely breakfast
the manager and staff displayed friendliness beyond compare! they checked that i was comfortable regularly. breakfast was lovely.
The carpet flooring showed slight signs of age. I thought it could benefit from updating.

clean room well-decorated bar spacious dining room old flooring drainage issue bathroom mould
i found the room very clean. the lounge and bar areas were well-decorated, with a fire. the breakfast is indeed superb with several cooked options available.. the dining room is light and spacious.
the old carpet flooring could use replacement. i noticed a rather bad smell in the bathroom, potentially a drainage issue. the ceiling in the bathroom also had some mould.

a pleasant place to stay
helpful staff good selection comfortable hotel squeaky floors unattended counter ground floor
i enjoyed the friendly and helpful staff. the breakfast had a good selection to choose from. the hotel felt very comfortable and relaxing. richard and the staff were very professional too.
The floors above were squeaky. I could hear other residents talking. there was no one at the counter for checkout, so i left my key there. we stayed on the ground floor.

secure parking warm welcome local restaurants
the hotel offered secure parking at the rear of the building. i had a warm welcome from karen, the manageress. she gave me directions to local restaurants (i tried one and it was delicious!).
the carpet in the room was a bit old.
