the hotel building is very nice. it was great to stay in a place with such history. the staff were friendly and helpful. breakfast was delicious (i especially liked the variety of options) and cooked to order. private parking provided easy access to the surrounding area.
the coffee cups in the room were too large for the coffee machine, so i could not use it.

I loved how friendly the staff was during check in. My room was clean upon arrival and the hotel was very well looked after. I really appreciated the quick and easy service throughout my stay. The location was also pretty good and close to the centre.
The toast machine at breakfast was not working properly one morning.

The building had a beautiful, rustic look. The staff members were friendly and helpful . Check-in and check-out processes were straightforward and efficient. I also found the location quite convenient.
I found a lack of space in the hotel car park. I had to find alternative parking, which proved to be costly. I also experienced noise issues due to thin soundproofing.

The staff were very friendly. They seemed helpful with all requests. Breakfast each morning had a nice selection. The location allowed for an easy walk to the castle and river.
I noticed some traffic noise from the busy roads nearby, especially with the windows open.
