charming historical stay
free-standing bathwell-tended gardens
the room had a free-standing bath , and the shower was excellent. i also liked the well-tended gardens.
there was not enough milk on our room tray.

i found the location on the high street very convenient. secure parking gave me a sense of ease. our spacious room had a huge bathroom. the staff were helpful.
i noticed a small area needing some upkeep in the garden, but it hardly detracted from the overall beauty

generous portionattentive staff
The breakfast was delicious. The smoked salmon and scrambled eggs were a generous portion. I appreciated the attentive staff immediately refilling my tea. The wood-paneled room for breakfast added elegance.

Overrated, some issues

breakfast WAS nice and the team serving it seemed professional enough.
The room i GOT was much too warm. I was not able to adjust the temperature. the tv in the room was way too small for the size of the room. also, it was a strange SETUP, with no proper reception.
