the hotel is located very close to victoria station and the national express victoria bus terminal. the staff seemed friendly and knowledgeable (especially at check-in). i was upgraded to a family room, which i found very nice after a long flight. the room had extra space that i could use.
the hot water took a little while to come through, but i knew it was a budget hotel.

the hotel features convenient luggage storage for a nominal fee, approximately £2 per bag (this was very helpful for early arrivals). this service ensured i could explore the city freely before check-in time.

a good base for exploring
quiet flatprivate spaceupscale areanice walk
the room was upgraded to a basement flat so i found it quiet. it seemed private too. the area had some restaurants and shops. i walked to buckingham palace.
the room was not ready, so i left my luggage at the reception. i was not given a ticket and it could have been picked up by someone else.

the hotel is a short walk from victoria station and coach station. this station offers direct access to many areas, and it is ideal for day trips. the neighborhood feels safe.

the location had easy access to both tube and bus, that was acceptable.
the room i was given had quite a lot of dust, and i noticed cobwebs on the walls and ceiling. also, the shower head wasn't working as it should. i was not able to find an ironing board to use.
