The building and room used a physical key. the room was very clean and well looked after. the bed was very comfortable, and it sported a memory foam mattress. i found the tv to be a good size, and it had an hdmi port. I could connect my laptop.
the shower lacked hot water one morning . i wasn't able to take a shower before leaving.

the staff greeted me warmly. they seemed happy to help with my luggage, carrying it to my room. the room itself was well kept and clean, with comfortable beds. i also appreciate that the hotel is very close to north pier.
My double room felt quite small. It was smaller than expected. there were no breakfast options available at the hotel. the ceiling in my room showed signs of previous water damage, with some peeling paint. i also had some problem, the shower wasn't working in the morning.

the hotel location was acceptable as it was close to the city center.
The room was small despite paying extra. the bed was much smaller than advertised and unsuitable for two people. also, the bathroom ventilation didn't work. Mirrors steamed up after showers.

the staff was friendly, and we were able to check in early at 9:30. i asked about lemonade, and the owner delivered a full bottle to our room. it was a nice gesture. i liked that the location was close to the northern train station.
the shower didn't work one morning. we couldn't take a bath because there was no plug. i knocked on the office door to inform them when we left, but no one was there. it was a shame.

Victoria provided great communication prior to my arrival. The check-in process was smooth and fast. I got a complementary room upgrade. The owner offered it. The room was basic. It was still lovely and cozy with a nice shower. Tea and coffee were available, and towels were provided.
