my room was clean. it had adequate heating (especially important during colder months!). i appreciated the central location. there were plenty of quiet spaces (two comfortable sitting rooms, for instance). the restaurant's extended hours were convenient, and the staff was very attentive.
i noticed some minor wear and tear on the furniture in my room.

I really loved the super-sized bed in our room. It was gigantic!!! The room was perfect. The location is nice. It's a good slice of luxury near the busy town. I found the staff friendly and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.
The walls in the annex building are a bit thin. I could hear people coming in late.

Charming Stay with Excellent Service

helpful staffswimming poolcooked breakfastunderfloor heating
The staff were very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The swimming pool was particularly enjoyable for my grandson. We also had a lovely cooked breakfast every morning (especially the pancakes!).
I found the room a bit warm due to the underfloor heating. It seemed I could not adjust the temperature to my preference. This made it a little uncomfortable for a good night's sleep.
Dining
9/10
The breakfast was quite tasty, and everything seemed well made. I particularly appreciated the quality of the cooked breakfast options. Grace in the restaurant.).
Rooms
8/10
The room was spacious enough for a twin room with two beds. The receptionist was very accommodating, he separated them upon request. He used different bedsheets for each bed to ensure everything was comfortable for our stay.
Service
10/10
A few staff members showed great customer service. Rika, the hotel manager, was friendly. She took time out of her busy day to speak with my family member, a nice touch.
Location
8/10
The location offers fabulous views over the lake from the grounds. It's a bonus. The position is also suitable for exploring the area.
