The staff were really helpful. the room was clean and the bed super comfortable! breakfast had a good choice and was really enjoyable. the food at the pub in the evening was tasty! i also loved the friendly cat. What a bonus!
The bedroom was located above the kitchen so it was noisy. I had no warning of this when i booked, though.

my family room had both a comfortable king-size bed and a pull-out sofa! the room was also equipped with a mini-fridge that kept our drinks really cold. we definitely made use of the tea and coffee making facilities.

i found the fresh pressed sheets on the comfortable beds to be quite lovely. the staff were helpful, always remembering me from previous visits. there was ample parking available which gave me peace of mind. i also received a fan due to the hot weather, a thoughtful gesture.
i noticed the wallpaper was peeling slightly in some areas.

my room included crisp, laundered white towels, a small but appreciated luxury. the family room was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate us. i found the bed to be wonderfully comfortable after a long day.

The room featured a very large king-size bed. The bathroom was also a good size (I appreciated that). Basic supplies like tea, coffee, and toiletries were well-stocked.

the bar was nice and friendly.
The room needed some serious upgrading, especially the bathroom. everything felt tired and worn, from the faded carpets to the old furniture. the shower was temperamental. I couldn't get a consistent temperature and the water pressure was really low.
