The Victoria Hotel is often praised for its convenient location, placing guests within a comfortable walk of York's city center and especially close to the Barbican. Guests appreciate the presence of on-site private parking and a traditional pub serving a good selection of beer and cider. The Sunday afternoon music was loud. The room being directly above the bar, noise traveled easily.

clean roomcomfortable bedfriendly staffloud noisegreen lightbusy pub
the room was nice and clean. the bed was comfortable. i appreciated the friendly staff (they were always helpful). the location was close to the city center.
the noise was a problem. i was told it would be loud until 11 pm but it was like i was sleeping on top of a club (the music seemed unnecessarily loud when the pub wasn't even busy). there was also a green light in the room, hard to get dark.
