solid stay

the refurbished shower in my room was quite good. i appreciated many plug sockets were available throughout the room. i was able to connect multiple devices, like my phone and tablet, to the wifi without issues. the sister hotel offered a warm swim in its lovely pool (and a great steam and sauna too!).
the corridors felt quite long and sometimes a bit chilly. i did feel a slight need to keep a sweater handy at times.

the hotel boasts indoor and outdoor pools, nice for swimming regardless of the weather (a definite plus!). there is also a gym with standard equipment like treadmills and weights, and a dedicated bowling alley for recreation.

unclean shower headundersized towels
the room, a standard double room, showed noticeable wear. the shower head was unclean, a detail that i find unacceptable. the provided towels barely served their purpose, another disappointment. i expect a certain standard, and these basics were not met.

The check-in process was efficient, and staff provided useful information regarding the hotel complex. Our family room, located on the first floor, included a Narnia-like wardrobe. I found the breakfast buffet generous and the evening meals quite good. All personnel displayed friendliness and a helpful attitude.
I noticed the access ramp to the building was not ideal for solo wheelchair users. A better-constructed ramp would be more suitable. Navigating between different areas often necessitated going outside.

The hotel features indoor pools large enough for playing ball and swimming laps. An outdoor pool is available. The sister hotel on the same site includes a warm swim, a great steam room, and a sauna.

Staff members were consistently excellent. They resolved blue badge parking promptly. The staff demonstrated willingness to go above and beyond. I experienced friendly and helpful service during my entire stay.

My room overlooked the front garden and was notably clean and large. The space was ample. The room was lovely and the bed proved comfortable. This included a double and two single beds.

the shower head had some dirt, and the towels was not big enough. the complimentary toiletries included only one bottle of refilled hand wash. i do think that the hotel should change it
