surprisingly good experience

the staff were very friendly. the location is close to babbacombe downs. the bus route to the harbour is direct. i found it to be very good value for money. the room was very comfy and tidy. i appreciated the efficient service.
the car park filled up quickly. there was no space when i arrived. this was a definite inconvenience.

the breakfast had a reasonable selection of cooked items. the staff was attentive in the dining area. the cafe also offered alternative options throughout the day. it's a good option.

the hotel is near babbacombe downs. there is a direct bus route to the harbour and paignton. this makes access to local attractions quite convenient. it is certainly a plus.

the staff at breakfast were amazing and the food was fantastic.
my room faced a rather uninspiring dirty wall and yard area , a view i certainly didn't appreciate. the net curtains were mouldy , and the paintwork looked like it hadn't seen a proper cleaning in ages, with greasy marks all over the walls. it hardly was like the relaxing getaway i had hoped for.

a rather mixed stay

the breakfast was alright, you know. there was quite a bit to pick from.
the room was very outdated. the furniture looked like it hadnt been updated in decades. the bathroom tap leaked and constantly dripped. there was this weird smell coming from the carpet, i think it needs a good clean or even replacing.

My room was adequately equipped for my stay. The staff were attentive and ensured a comfortable experience. I was pleased with the proximity to transportation. We were quite close to public transit.
The spa area showed signs of wear. The toilet seat was broken and shower lacked basic toiletries. I hope it receives some updates soon.
