The staff were friendly and helpful, a DEFINITE plus.
The bathroom, though functional, felt very dated. I think it needs an update. the shower pressure was shockingly low, it was barely a trickle.

the restaurant created a fabulous atmosphere , i even enjoyed a delicious three course meal. it proved great value! breakfast felt really good with larger portions than expected , everything was made to order. the staff are really good, attentive , and very cute.
i noticed some dust behind the bedside cabinets when i needed to charge my phone , it was a minor inconvenience.

outdated bathroommold problem
The bathroom looked VERY outdated. i think there was mold everywhere. WE did not even use the shower. It was THAT bad. everything needs some WORK.

The staff helped me with gluten-free options. There were plenty of these options. The pub and restaurant areas look fantastic. My room was very large and comfortable.
The room lacked teaspoons. I needed these to make tea or coffee. The bathroom light had a long metal chain. It tangled with the bathroom door when I tried to enter. Dog mess lay in the garden, I felt put off when eating there.

A Truly Charmed Stay!

The location offered a good, quintessential English setting. Sitting in the garden and eating my evening meal was particularly lovely. The staff were really friendly and super helpful. They greeted me with a warm, friendly welcome in a clean bar area. I found good parking, and the hot water showers were plentiful.
The shower was awful in the room. The place needs some serious tender loving care.
