the breakfast was good. i especially liked the freshly cooked options. the location was convenient for visiting stonehenge. the room was clean (a relief after a long day).
the pub was closed . this meant no evening meals or drinks were available. i found this disappointing since i expected to relax after travelling. the lack of notice about this closure was frustrating.

i had a twin room and it had tea and coffee facilities. the bed were warm and i sleeped well. the staff was gentle from check-in. breakfast was special and tasty.
the service was slow at the restaurant, a very long wait for our food. my dessert, the crumble, looked like warm fruit, not a proper crumble. it tasted fine, though.

I found the room included expected amenities. The breakfast offered a satisfying start to the day with several choices. The location allowed easy access to nearby points of interest. I visited Stonehenge, a short drive away. Parking on site added considerable convenience .
The bathroom looked dated. I noticed the shower head needed some attention. It detracted slightly from the overall experience, but not significantly.
