the staff were friendly. my room was super clean and comfortable. i asked for a late checkout and they accommodated it because i was running behind schedule. i appreciate their help.
the approach to the room in the separate annex felt a bit grim.

the hotel sits in the surrey hills in a very nice location. the stream passing by creates a comforting feeling. free parking is available to all guests.

Breakfast was cooked to order. It wasn't an endless buffet. the dinner menu was excellent. the food was delicious. i recommend the fish and chips. It's AMAZING!!!

The location offered an interesting outlook from room 6 which overlooked the garden. The room was spacious and the decor was chic. The plentiful supply of teas was a plus. The staff were cheerful and gave a lovely welcome.
The beer selection was great and the cocktails were too, but breakfast service was slow.

The staff was accommodating and very helpful, especially Tom and Grant. The cute atmosphere in the rooms. I noticed a bus stop opposite the hotel, a great feature for travel into town.
